  1. Nope.  Anything that makes a sound with their throat, usually has a voice box.

    But I heard giraffes don't/can't make any vocal sounds.


  2. No.  However humans are the only animal that is capable of speech.  There is more to speech than a "voice box".

    Giraffes do make sounds, they are not audible to human hearing.

    The voice box is the larynx, and it is used to make sounds.  It is our mouth and tongue that form the words that are unique to humans.

    Many other animals make sounds, like dogs barking, cats meowing, using their voice boxes, for example.

  4. Not at all.  Killer whales, (Orcinas orca) have three different "voice boxes," and can use all three at the same time, each one on a different conversation.
