  1. And beavers but, we are both part of nature.

And if global warming is real why was it snowing the other day in Col. Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Idaho?

It's the middle of June for crying out loud!!!

  2. Humans are responsible for deforestation because they cut down trees, and by extension, forests.

Humans are not the reason of global warming.

  3. The answer is no.  There are more trees now than when Columbus landed.  There is some exploitation of trees since they are very useful in a number of ways.  There is both deforestation and growing new trees.  Humans may have added a bit of CO2 to the atmosphere that has added a bit of warming to the climate.  It is not likely to be harmful or significant however in spite of what you might read from some sources.

  4. What do you mean partically responsible.  Take a look at a map starting with the entire east coast.  From Maine to North Carolina was once 90 percent forest and woodlands, now its a sprawling cement parking lot.  The fact is that humanity is an efficent animal.  We take over and remake huge areas of land to serve our purposes when we need only a fraction of it to live on.  Take Los Angles for example, there are no family homes in LA that have yards.  They are forced by population density to maxime buildable area.  Yet in places like Minnesota homes are built with a 1/2 or full acre or more of land that is just a yard, nothing of worth is being produced there.

The brazilian rainforest disappers in huge swaths on a daily basis to make room for grazing animals,  that rainforest is an intergral part of the weather patterns for the entire planet yet no country says to them 'we will provide you with meat/milk/or other necessities if you agree to leave the forest alone.  Global warming is just the least of our long term sins.  Our own lack of common sense will lead to our demise.

  5. of course humans are the reason for it, i mean who else would be?

the reason why? is because God has given us dominion over the earth and we Abused it.

but let's not forget that god has also promised us by the same token, that he would never bring total destruction to earth.....but guess what?   we might.

i truly think we allready well on our way.

  6. Humans probably are responsible for much of the deforestation by cutting down the trees. However, many loggers manage their forests so they can be sustained indefinitely. Obviously, a smart capitalist would want to manage the forest so it would continue to yield income.

As for the global warming part, we have no control over the climate. But if we did, we must be doing something right as biomass is rapidly expanding around the globe.

  7. Deforestation is a lie. There are more trees now than 200 years ago. Why you may ask? Because we plant trees in place of the ones cut down AND (this is the most important reason) because we put out forest fires. 200 years ago forest fires would not stop until they burned themselves out or a drought ended.

Global warming is no longer an issue. Since temperatures have actually went down the last few years they have changed it to Climate Change. So you see humans are responsible because we are the ones that give it a name. lol

  8. You want to wipe your butt don''t you?  And read about deforestation.  And wrap your gifts that are in the box , with the birthday card. and all.   And you want to do it from inside your warm house with a warm crackling fire, right?   That is a start here.   Now a days they are clear cutting land in other areas just so that a specific crop can be grown such as coffee or raise beef on the land for the north american market.    Also, nobody desires to walk if they can drive, or fly.  The massive amount of energy used in electricity to power computers and other electrical devices, electrical generators have to be powered by some means and if it is not by water, it is by coal, natural gas, or oil.          What you got is because of oil.

  9. No its the monkeys!!!!! You gotta be like 12 or something.  Yes we are DEFINATELY the reason for it.

  10. About deforestation, yes, we are the cause. I'm sure you'll agree that people have been destroying woods ever since they were able to, I mean, as soon as technologies developed, mankind has done everything to wipe the green out of this planet. Unfortunately, most of the people who hold power don't care about it.

  11. Yes, humans cut down trees in order to meet the world's needs.

    These needs include:

    Toilet paper

    Regular paper

    Energy

    Clearing of land

This is deforestation. As for climate change, you should research the following very interesting presentation....

  12. You are still in school aren't you?

Did humans set the fires burning today in CA?  No lightening did

Why do we cut trees?  Do you live in a house?  Do you write on paper?  what do you wipe you tail on after you go to the bathroom?  What does your pizza come in?  Who many silly teen mags.  do you get each month?

    Need I go on?

  13. Humans are the entire reason for climate destruction, if we didn't exist the world would be a much better place. Humans create and destroy without any care for our earth. We cut down trees for paper and other products without just reusing what we already destroyed . We are destroying land to build more farms for things like corn to use to power vehicles we really do not need. We need to learn to be local and learn how to live with the earth and not against it and if we cannot do that then we need to figure a way to leave the earth without destroying it further.

  14. now clearing little forests and things of that sort aren't really detrimental to the environment but when ppl r chopping down miles of rain forest and junk yeah its called air ppl we all use it at least until my research is complete

now u may be asking urself "what research?" well i'm trying to combine the dna of a tree with that of a humans so we can breath carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen

get ready..... almost... now!! evil scientist laugh muahahahahah!!!

  15. Humans are the cause of global warming. The humans that caused it can actually be named. I, cannot name them all, not even the first or last,  but Al Gore for one.

Scientific models have shown that global warming is a hoax. Weather statistics show that globally the temperature has not raised in the last century.

It's sad that pictures say a thousand words, too bad a real picture can tell a fictitious story just as well as a true story. People believe that polar bears are in a bad way and Antarctica is three weeks from no longer existing.

As for deforestation, I'd blame beavers.

  16. Yes humans are responsible for deforestation. Right now its mainly happening to the Brazillian Rainforest and we really need to do all in our power to stop it and hopefully find a way to reverse the damage.

First step is to relocate the people living and farming near the rainforest. Come on people Brazil is a big country, so to think that can't be done is a load of...

Then it has to be declared a World Park and protected.

This wouldn't cost that much money and would benefit the entire planet.
