  1. Humans are not to blame.  It is an inevitable phenomenen...the world fills up with people and then some kind of disaster....tsunami, earthquake, plague, creation of technology leading to environmental destruction... causes the population to decline again.

  2. without technology such as extracting nitrogen fertilizer from the air the world would support less than 2 billion humans.

with only organic farming methods ( no tractors or synthetic fertilizers) less than 1.2 billion.

the current world population is approx. 6.5 billion.

in the U.S. & most of Europe the air and rivers(environment) are much cleaner & less polluted  than 50 years ago in 1958 and the standard of living, health & average lifespan is higher than 50 years ago. all due to improved technology.

  3. The environment is destroyed? Jeez, I wish someone would have told me! I guess I'm out of the loop.

Seriously, the entire premise of the question is false. The environment is dirty in a few patches like China, but to say that the environment, as in the global environment, is destroyed, is utter nonsense.

If that's the kind of c**p your commie teachers are feeding you, I'd demand my money back, because your soi-dissant educators are ripping you off! Oh wait... you probably go to public school, you can't get your money back!

  4. Sorry, but your question doesn't make much sense.

It's humans who have developed technology -- no other species has anything like our technology.

  5. There's more than 6.5 billion people in the world.

Sure, the world is a big place, but the atmosphere is so thin (the thiness of an apples skin) we are capable of changing it's composition. And, yes, we already have dangerously increased the amounts of CO2 to our atmosphere.

    So to answer your question,

    YES.
