Are hummingbirds attracted to ant poison?

Hummingbirds wouldn't be attracted to ant poison unless there were poison in a feeder or ant guard that they might poke their tongue into to drink from.  If a hummingbird indeed drank from a feeder that had ant poison IN it, it would harm them to some degree, possibly killing them if exposed to enough.  It is, after all, poison.  

    If you're trying to deter ants from entering your hummingbird feeder, you can try using a ant moat, such as the one in the following link:  http://www.a1glasshummingbirdfeeders.com...  You fill with water, no pesticides needed.  

    Ant poison broadcast throughout a lawn or sprinkled on mounds is hazardous to ground feeders.  Birds searching for seeds on the ground, such as doves, or ants specifically, such as Flickers or Blue Jays, can ingest the poison and die.
