  1. iPods have no form of built in wireless communication, therefore these devices are allowed on a plane.  However, according to FAA regulations, these devices must be turned off during taxiing, takeoff and landing, and must only be used when the flight crew has cleared its use (usually in-flight, once the seatbelt sign is turned off).

A Nintendo DS has its own form of internet and wireless communication, but as long as you're not trying to connect to the WFC or not playing a multiplayer game, you're fine to use your DS.  In flight, you're only allowed to play a single-player game on your DS, not anything that requires multiplayer.

And, while wireless communications do not interfere with airplane instruments, these precautions still exist "just in case".  Also, be aware that if you are leaving the country, all of your electronic equipment may be seized by US Customs when you return to be copied and then returned to you at a later date.  This is being done for so-called security reasons.

  2. you can bring the ipod as long as you dont play it when your taxing, landing, or taking off. you cant play multi player on your nintendo though.

    Hoped this helped!:]
