Are import drivers (skylines/supras/s13's etc) in other countries targeted by the police too?

Here in Australia people who drive an imported Japanese sports car receive far more scrutiny from the police while on the road, to the point where if your car is modified you can not risk going out driving on weekends or in downtown areas.

Is it like this in other countries too?

  1. Alot depends where you live in the UK ,myself have never been pulled over driving an import but i must admit i do get  Police cars turning around and following me ,also i get unmarked Police cars like Subaru's and Evo's  trying to get me to race them. And as well as that when iam in a line of traffic where there is a speed gun you see the Officer always passing by other cars to point my way.

So yes and no,but i daily read of other drivers in my country getting picked on all the time whilst driving imports. And often being in trouble for basic faults like numer plate sizes etc.
