Are italian greyhounds nothing but a trip to the hospital?

i hear that italian or miniature greyhounds have too many medical problems like they brake a leg too easily since they are fragile dogs, or so i hear is that true? and if i get one what is the chance of that really happening?

  2. They are slightly fragile dogs and as most small dogs, will break bones a bit easier than a larger breed. My sister has had an Italian Greyhound for 8 years and she goes to the dog park, plays with other dogs, navigates the stairs and plays with my niece. She's never had a single broken bone or had any issues.

    You need to be careful with them and simply exercise good judgment when putting them down etc. If you treat them with kindness and a bit of compassion, you should not have any problems.
