Are japanese universities good?

i wanna study law, are any universities in japan any good?

  1. No, Japanese universities are not as "good" as US ones.  In Japan students study like crazy during high school so that they can pass the college entrance exams; once they pass and get into college they just play around for 4 years until "graduation".

      I was an exchange student for one year in Tokyo.  My roommate was a senior, he wrote his "senior thesis" in about 36 hours (yes, staying up all night) the day before it was due.

    come to Cambridge University ( or Harvard might be equally good )

  3. Japanese universities in general are play time, it's true. But if you want to study law, why Japan? If you are going to practice in Japan, then yes. If not, then no. Also, you'd have to know advanced Japanese like a native to get a degree in such a complex subject.
