Are jean shorts and short skirts sluttish?

I am 16 and I live near the beach. i wear jean shorts and short skirts alot in the summer. but whenever i do i feel kind of S****y. i don't know why. i am very tall, 5'10" and i feel kind of self conscious when i wear shorts and skirts because i always see guys staring at my legs and i feel weird. but um do you think a girl is sluttish if she wears short shorts and skirts? when i was 13, i was 5'8" and i would wear super short skirts and stuff, but i didn't feel sluttish at all back then, i don't know what the problem is. so does it look sluttish?

No, they are not S****y, but are yours shorter than the picture? If they are showing your buns, then yes they make you look S****y. You are tall, so you must have long legs. Guys like shapely legs and you are just seeing their reaction to your legs. If you don't like it, buy some shorts that are longer.

noooo they're not sluttish....i live in puerto rico near the beach and i wear them all the time. u justa have to know with what to pair it with. if u wear short shorts with a blause that shows a lot well.......then you'll look sluttish but other wise no.... people r just jealuos cause u look hot in them xD

no i don't think wearing shorts or skirts is sluttish at all I mean theres not that much clothing that people can wear in the summer time besides capris or long skirts and to me those are way too hott to be wearing in the summer time.

No.... I saw your photo, I found you have a pair of s**y long legs and you are not sluttish. It is okay to me as a guy. Your legs look tan and healthy and furthermore, you are a teenager, of course you are attractive to most of the guys....it is a good sign that it shows that you are beautiful.....but must take care of yourself and be careful of pervert guys.

a little bit. it all depends on how you wear them mainly. and how tight and short they are. just wear something around midthigh and you shouldn't feel so sluttish. and you won't be looked at as so sluttish by others either.

They are looking at your legs because they like what they see. And no, they aren't sluttish. As long as butt cheek isn't showing you are fine. Enjoy them short shorts! You only get to wear them for a few months every year. =D

I have the same question, i wear really short skirts and all my friends think it looks sluttish, but i don'tt think that, and so i ignore them.  Do what you think is right and most importantly how you feel comfortable, if you feel comfortable wearing it this length, go ahead and have some fun and wear it, absolutely nothing wrong with that.  And especially because it's summer and thats really the only time you get to fress so openly and short, so have fun and do what you like and feel comfortable in.  As for my personal opinion, i think it's absolutely fine and its fun wearing short skirts and shorts.  I like it, and if you do than dnt worry about anybody else, if they dont like it it's their problem, thats what i do too.
