Are jetta volkswagen's reliable cars?

Are they good cars if you have kids?

the mk 5 which include 08-09 is pretty reliable.

I'm not sure about their automatic, but their stick shift rocks.

They'll be great if you have kids. They're pretty reliable. They're also good beginning cars as well so once your kids begin to drive, you can hand it down to them so you can get yourself a mercedes haha

they are okay.  much improved over their predecessors, but not up to the reliability level of a civic, corolla, mazda 3 or subaru impreza.
