Are jounior lifesaving clubs good?

i have three kids who can swim fantasticly do they need jounior lifesaving lessons?

Depends on how old they are, and where they swim. 15 years old is the youngest I have heard allowed to lifeguard at pools. I have been guarding for about 3 years now. If they were my kids I would rather get them in a good CPR class. If they can swim well they can pull some one their size out of the water.

It's not completely about how well they can swim, it's about how to swim when trying to save someone from drowning.  When someone is drowning they will inadvertently try to drown the rescuer in an attempt to stay above water.  Lessons will teach how to hold and calm them.  I went through it many moons ago and it was enlightening.
