Doubt it. I believe it is illegal in most/all states.  Not sure though. You live in Indiana though, I hope youv'e been to Brown County State Park!! Awesome place for cyclists and MTBers!

I could find no statute making this illegal in Valparaiso or Indiana.

It is actually an urban myth that bicycles are illegal on sidewalks in many cities.

The REAL case is that in most towns and cities, bikes are legal on sidewalks as long as they are ridden in a safe and courteous manner outside of retail areas.

but  always do your own searches and look for original laws and statutes, not paraphrasing and repeated stories.

I think so.  Skateboarding isn't allowed downtown.    Try it and if a cop stops you, just tell them you didn't know, and then don't do it again!
