Are klean kanteens dishwasher safe ?

Use the link below to check out your particular Klean Kanteen.  But it says the 27 oz. one is dishwasher friendly.  I interpret that as being okay.  There's probably a seam on it somewhere that might let moisture leak in.  But I'd feel safer running that risk with the dishwasher than submerging it in dishwater in my sink!  If water does leak in, you might need to air dry it for a few days until it would evaporate.
