Are large testicles responsible for increased testosterone production or vice versa?

  1. Hypogonadism (low testosterone) essentailly means "small testes".

    But any man with testes inside the normal adult range of about 15-35ml is usually able to produce adequate amounts of testosterone. Once you're in the normal range it no longer matters how big they get.....

    I think that the hormone always comes first. Like oxytocin starts labor contractions. And the pituitary gland secretes hormones that make you taller. And an underactive thyroid makes your metabolism slower. Physical characteristics are a direct effect of the hormone.

  4. I'm sure there are guy's with big testicles with low testosterone. It depends on the person
