Can an illegal citizen or undocumented person join a police force or sheriff's office in the US.

  3. Illegal and undocumented?  NO.  Illegal is illegal.  How can someone like that represent the law if they are breaking it?

  9. At least in my state any permanent legal resident can be the police. You do not have to be a citizen. So if you are an alien with a proper green card you can be the police. In my station alone we have Philippinoes, Polish, Mexican, Honduran, English, Ecuadorean, Indian, Pakistani officers and I'm sure some others I don't know about. They are all sworn officers.

    As far as illegal aliens, no.

  10. Does the term ILLEGAL mean anything to you?  Anybody who is doing something ILLEGAL is not exactly a perfect candidate now.

  11. with the ways that things are going with illegal  citizens they won't have a problem getting any kind of a law enforcement job
