Are leather seated cars really made of leather?

I am a vegeterian and also never wear leather or fur .my husband just bought a leather seated car and when i got mad he said these are just called leather seat ,they are not really made of leather.so i was wondering if he is telling the truth.

if they say leather then yes...go for a microfiber instead...you can get the feel of suede with none of the guilt!

Leather is leather because... that's what it is.  A chair is a chair isn't it?  Your husband may have bought VINYL seats which are leather-like, but cheaper and more durable.  What kind of car did he buy?  Genuine leather comes in fewer cars than people think.
