are you left handed, and do you seem to think differently, or have a aptitude for something , and assume it is because your right side of the brain rules you? I'm just intrigued to know your angle.

  1. Not neccessarily, I know someone who is left handed( in writing and drawing, but uses the right hand for the basic hand tasks), he's very good in drawing, he is quite impressive. I am right handed but I think that I can match his artistic creativity-I am also very good in drawing. The two of us are probably the most artistically talented people in the entire school. But I think that left anded people do think a little different. Some famous left handed people I know are Leonardo da Vinci, Sir Paul McCarthney, and Jimmi Hendrix( playing the guitar very well using the left hand) and perhaps there are lots of famous left handed boxers ( Oscar dela Hoya). So there is a chance for that to be true.

  2. The opposite in my experience they are better at things like science and maths.

  3. i write with my right hand but i sometimes draw with my left depending on my mood- but i'm a weird kid.

i think creativity is something that you have; i don't think that left handed/right handed matters in the long run.

  4. They are better at a lot of things because they live in a world designed for right  handed people.

  5. I am not left handed.

A person is Left handed or right handed is not determined before birth. A baby at the stage communicating, tries to communicate using hands and this decides whether the baby will become right handed or left handed.. How?

Our communication device is in left side of our brain... You may be knowing left of brain controls right side of our body and vice versa...

As many babies statrted communicating using right hand, they became right handed..

There is no other difference i feel..

  6. your hand means nothing!! it is the side of your brain that works best.

people with the better left part of the brain are good at things like:

    Art

    Music

    Designing

    Drama

    Maths

    Languages

    Creative things

    Right sided brains:

    Science and experimental things

  7. Speaking from my own experience: I was taught to use my right hand for writing and basically everything else, so I'm right-handed and used to think using my left hand was wrong. I couldn't even hold a pair of scissors or a mug in my left hand at one point.

Now over recent years, I've been using my left hand more (typing and such) and have become more creative around the same time. I guess it could be coincidence but I do think it's because now I'm using the right side of my brain more than before. So yes, I do think being lefthanded and being creative/artistic are related in some ways, although each person does have their own interests so it's not black and white.

  8. Yes I'm left handed and to be honest with you I don't think it makes any difference.

  9. I have read that is true.   But lefthanded people from the time they are young have stress in a right-handed world.  I believe due to this left-handed people, have shorter life spans then right handed people.

  10. I am left handed but can't draw to save my life and don't ever think about if I think/act differently but everybody different.

I did some research for you and found some information for you, am unsure if any help or interest...

    Things Left-Handers Are Good At

The way our brains are organised, with the right hemisphere controlling our dominant left-hand, means we do things differently to right-handers.

The left hemisphere (RIGHT HAND CONTROL) controls Speech, Language, Writing, Logic, Mathematics, Science, this is the LINEAR THINKING MODE.

The right hemisphere (LEFT HAND CONTROL) controls Music, Art, Creativity, Perception, Spatial awareness, Emotions, Genius, this is the HOLISTIC THINKING MODE.

  11. I'm a lefty, and I'm useless at maths but brilliant at creativity and problem solving. yes, it's the fact that my right brain rules me that made me pick up a pen with my left hand.

strangely, though, i do sports, use a mouse, scissors etc with my right.

  12. I am left handed, and the only thing I notice is that when typing sometimes my letters are back to front, my left hand seems to work at diff speed to my right. Its annoying. Scissors are a pain too, unless you get left handed ones.

  13. it is so true, all the left handed people i know are into art, are really good at it and are always doodling away lol it's because i think the right side of your brain controls like artistic stuff. =)

  14. i'm left handed but in no different to a right handed person im sure

i do have a wild imagination and i am creative writing wise i cant draw though- but that might just be my personality

the only problem with being left handed is everything seems to be against you

when your a child you have to turn everything backwards cos most people show you right handledly, scissors wont work and they are never left handed ones
