Are limos really cool?

Does any one really think that stretch limos are classy, or cool? I really do think they are very, very tacky. Totally lacking in class or style. They always seem to be full of loud, brash tarty girls, who are either drunk or on the way to getting drunk.

Not classy and Not cool.  Nobody with any class uses a limo any more.  It's pretty obvious teh class of poeple they cater to, based on the length.

When factory limos used to be stretched 18 inches, then those were intended for classy people. They don't make 'em like that any more.

I can't stand them. They are so common and have become associated with hen nights and stag do's.

I'd rather be seen in a more contempary car than a limo.

At one point they were "cool" associated with celebs and hollywood but now they are too available and tacky.

The thought of having a TV, champagne, loads of seats, etc seems coool but it's not as good when you actually get in the Limo, lol

Not many people know this, but no people carriers are insured in the UK to carry more than 7 or 8 people.

If the limo crashes and you get hurt the compnay will not pay out.  You get in them at your own risk.  Also if the poli cepull them up, they are in there right to make everyone get out.  Same goes for the 12-15 seater mini buses (transit style ones) - they cannot be insured for that many people without requiring a different license, insurance policy (limos can not be in this bracket full stop) and an appropriate vechile to carry the people - proper bus.,

As for the people, I've been in a couple, but YES mainly full of drunk  chavs! :-)

you're absolutely right. Have you ever seen someone famous in a big cheap white limo with a bloke in tracksuit bottoms driving? Nope.

We had one for prom and they're fun at first, but the novelty of being in a stretched limo soon wears off :p

The vehicle is designed to be showy and OTT.  As usual, it's the people that let down the idea.

it depends on what you're using it for. If you have some friends you want to take around town it makes sense. Having someone else do the driving while you enjoy the ride is what its all about. no need to worry about how anyone uses their time in a limo. rent one with some friends or family and see for yourself.

Once upon a time, time their was an ordinary girl. One day she had the chance to go for a ride in a strech limo. She felt really excited and felt very special. But then over the last years, she saw so many of this limos driving around, with noisey and loud people in it.

After that she realised, that she wasn't that special after all. It made her a little sad, but she got over it and lives happily ever after.

it depends the way you use them, black stretchies with women who dressed smartly and not revealingly and men dressed in black suits too make limos look good and important.....

well they can seem tacky if they are all jazzed up with like glitter and that. but like stretch humma limmo's are hot ;)
