Are lip retainers noticable?

i want to put in a lip ring but where i work, it wouldnt be proffesional. can you see it if you put coverup on it? are regular lip rings bad for your teeth? do they mess them up? pic??

dont put coverup on it, itll be WAY noticeable, and on a new piercing, youll get an infection.

labret studs are bad for your gums and teeth but captive bead rings and circular barbells arent because they dont touch your teeth/gums like studs do.

you could get a clear or flesh-colored piercing retainer but ONLY after your lip has healed FULLY (about 7 weeks).

theres a few thing you can do retainers are good but they dont make it completly invsabl or put a stud in backward so the flat part is on the outside and put makeup on it. and its not the best thing for you teeth but its not as bad as peaple say it is so dont let that stop you hope this helps also lipring are pritty hot on girls

i used to have my lip pierced when i was 14 - 16 (i'm 17 now)

at school i wore a retainer for a few days & it looked even worse than the lip ring. you could totally tell!

they are a waste of money in my opinion.

instead, i wore a lip stud without the ball attached. you couldn't really see that :)

as for the teeth.

yes they are bad!

i have damage to my bottom tooth where it used to catch regulary, it also caused some gum damage too.

i regret ever having that piercing. :( lol!
