If so, how can I improve in order to have a good life?

How will looking the way I do be detrimental to my life? Has ugly people's lives been harmed or half-lived because of their looks?

  1. If you wish to be liked by someone who judges you on the basis on HOW YOU LOOK- try to look pretty by all means. You'll find plenty of people out there with only half a brain.

If you wish to be love by someone , who'll love you for WHO YOU ARE. put on some nerdy glasses and read Bertrand Russel.

  2. 1st off you are pretty, plain but pretty. Just because people can be shallow brainwashed idiot jerks does not mean you are not pretty. Being ugly can affect all aspects of life, but you look good enough.

  3. Are you fishing for compliments? Do you really need validation from strangers? Looks are not everything in life, not even close! Confidence and personality will take you places looks can't. Looking the way you do will not be detrimental to your life. The way you act about the way you look will ruin you, though. I'm sure a little bit of self esteem would make you look a hundred times better.

  4. wtf is ur problem lady, you've asked this question over 12 times this past month!

  5. The way people treat you by the way you look should make you disgusted with the whole lot of so-called rational humans.

  6. oh sweetie you do not look ugly at all. but yes it can affect your life because society is affected by the media whose hype is that if you are not pretty or handsome then you are a nobody. but we know in the real world that's not all true. but yet and still people are influenced  by the world.

  7. omg it take me an hour to do my hair all the blowdry it put do makeup everything a girl usaul doing ok

  8. yes, ugly and beautiful people suffer, smart and stupid suffer, you have to be average like most of the people or you will suffer, being beautiful smart and rich, that's h**l!

  9. This culture has become obsessed with looks, as if it's the most important value in life.  This is a change that has taken place over the last few decades.  As recently as thirty or forty years ago people were much less concerned about physical appearance.  We've become a society driven by and devoted to consumerism, and the obsession with physical appearance and sexual attraction has been deliberately created by marketers to sell products.  Big business has created us to be terribly insecure about ourselves and about our bodies, at the same time it has created our lifestyle to be increasingly artificial, which results in unhealthiness that undermines people's physical vitality.  It has implanted a terrible fear in people, especially women, of overweight, at the same time it sells food and spreads misinformation about diet that create obesity, and then it makes more money selling supposed solutions to the problems it creates.

This is the real ugliness.  People demeaning others because of slavery to mass-marketed and ridiculous standards of beauty is the real ugliness.  Dehumanizing business practices that deliberately create fear in the minds of little children about their looks, resulting in an epidemic of eating disorders, is the real harm being done.

If you want to have a good life, be concerned about the love you have to give to others, which other desperately need.  The world is in a lot of trouble and there is enormous suffering because of the lack of love.  When you have reached the end of your life and are looking back over it, do you think your concern is going to be that you didn't look good enough?

  10. You're gorgeous!! In this day and age, looks are important to a point. Its a great first impression if you have with a fresh face and a clean style, you dont need to worry.
