  1. I'd hope so, or why would anyone buy them?

  2. depends where you are going. if theres a lot of different weather happening dont do it. rain and snow wont agree with those tires

  3. Around town they will work fine but a rough ride and on a long trip, they will beat you to death...............

  4. Just make sure they are inflated properly, wearing evenly and have enough tread. They should be fine.

  5. that depends.  low profile tires will wear faster.  Also they are uasually slicker than regular tires, so you have less traction control.  Especially in rain or wet weather.  I wouldn't travel cross country on them.

  6. Low profile tires are just fine to travel on. I have 17" low profile tires on my Focus SVT and they have been just fine. I've only had a blow once, but that's because i was an idiot and only aired up three tires instead of four when i was checking the pressure.

The ride is pretty rough, but it has performance suspension, so the ride is stiff to begin with. The tires just make it a little stiffer. Also, be careful of potholes. The tires won't soak up an impact like normal tires will.

Overall though, i like them better. They have a lot of grip and look awesome with a set of nice alloy rims. I've driven on them for 35000 miles (about 500miles was my longest one way trip), so yes, they are fine for long distance.

Rain agrees with them fine. I've never hydroplaned and i used to live in houston. A little rain and we where flooded!
