  1. Yes not only Delhi but other cities too.  The originality of shopping area of that particular city is lost. It is always fun to go to the peculiar shopping area of that city eg. Charminar in Hyderabad, Karolbagh in Delhi, Tulasibag in Pune, Linking road of Bandra etc.  Malls are stereotype. Same goods, same brands, nothing special of that city.

  2. SURVIVAL FOR Fittest ......in good markets/near by to

Res areas can do well in long run.

  3. Absolutely, malls are changing the face of Delhi. Each one tries to surpass the previous one in it's architectural detail...until it's not really Delhi, but Architectural Digest India!

Anyway, parking is horrible at the malls in Delhi, which is much worse than the impact of the architecture!

  4. i think it does change the face.. n u r rite its also not gud if there is so many of them in there... i visit delhi ard 5 yrs. back n i'm sure its totaly different now..but at the same time if u look in positive way its good in the way of increasing economy n increase jobs for unemployed ppl... delhi shud be maintained well enof to catch ppl's eyes in competition with mumbai!!! where there is no comparison ..
