Are many of you staying home this long weekend because of gas prices?

It is pathetic how expensive gas it!!! We live in Alberta Canada and an average gallon of regular is around $5.00. We earn a very good living a year (over 200K) and even we are not roaming far from home.

We've been been taking half the trips we did a couple years ago, and much shorter. I feel almost guilty taking a trip just for pleasure.

i live in peoria, il, and it's 4.09 a gallon.  idk if the $ is worth less there or here er not!

Well gas here in IN is currently about $4.00 and my husband still took off somewhere this weekend... well its like only an hour away but still.

walk, or have a cookout with neighbors that is what we do. of course we only drive if it is absolutely necessary but then again we are living on around 40,000 a year for a family of four. but yes it really sucks when i had to quit my summer job up the mountain because the pay would not cover the gas to get to the job.

Me and the boyfriend are staying around town. Went and saw the new Indiana Jones movie. If there are fireworks this year, we should be able to walk to them.
