A few are afraid of commitment.  Fewer still are specifically afraid of being trapped or confined into a relationship because they fear they may meet someone "better" and not be able to pursue that relationship.  Such men are not men at all but are still little boys emotionally, and they are in the minority.  Still, there are enough of them around that a girl has to watch her step and not let her guard down right away.  Don't start thinking "Marriage!" for at least a year.  And if and when you decide, together, that marriage is the right step, settle on a year's betrothal.   Yes, that sounds like a long time - but you're hoping for a lifetime commitment, aren't you?  That's one thing you DON'T rush into...

Well i'm a women, but i think if they love u they will do anything to marry u, they will be there for long time until u get married... but some of the guys, they love u, but they dont see u as a women, they love u,  but they think that marriage is a block in front of them, cutting his dreams, his plans, everything.... so it depends...and some of them, don't like to feel atached to something, they like to be free, and they dont like to be bother or argue for anything...

They are afraid of the ramifications of divorce, financially, and the responsibilities thereof.

In NY for example, only 4 percent of men get custody, and the only way they can is to show alcoholism or drug addiction on the woman's part, child abuse on the woman's part, or if the woman dozen;t want the kids. Therefore, there are fixed income percentages men must pay to the women for child support, like 25 percent of PRE-Taxed income for the kids for two of them. TGhat leaves them with less than 1/2 of their monthly cash, and perhaps only a basem,ent apartment or a room iun someone;s house until the kids are gown. They are broke, basically.The system is loaded against men in NY State. So many men stat single and just date forever or not forever.

Most if not all men dont want to get married cause they dont want to have s*x with the same woman all the time.

They want to stay single and sleep around.

Many, not all. However, everyone should be afraid of the unknown, which is why everyone should go into marriage with a lot of thought and discernment.

Most men aren't afraid of marriage.

However, most men are afraid of loosing the house, the car, everything in the bank account, 20%+ of everthing they are deemed capable of earning and ofcourse THE CHILDREN except every other weekend, etc..

I'm living the "dream" and all I want is my children back home. Don't really care about the rest of it or her. Today, I'm nobody with nothing - yesterday I was a business owner with a family and a future.

That piece of paper is what shuttled everything away.

Can't say that I'll ever want to go through that again.

However, I would strongly recommend marriage to women because it's win-win no matter what, once you have that one piece of paper.
