  1. We are all humans are we not? I think the differences lye in our hormones, thinking pattens, instinct, and genital area. But considering the huge differences in the way men and women think and act there is a huge gap. I think we are different were is suits us and the same where it suits us also. I think God made men and women different according to what would best help the survival of the race.

  2. Men and women by far I can say that they have more differences than similarities. It so obvious!! I could sit here and compare and contrast them but that would take way to log and be way to personal. Ha ha.

  3. I think men and women are more similar than most of us would like to admit. It's just easier to place everyone in a box.

  4. You will be able tell by some of the answers from the men on here that they have a strong psychological NEED to believe that women are different, in all the ways that indicate men are the superior gender. EDIT: The one above me, for instance.

  5. We all want the same thing out of life, security, a nice home, a partner to love us, someone to share our lives with and to be happy

  6. There are some gender differences. We are very similar, and the way we were raised is more indicative of what kind of person we are rather  then our gender. But during some phase of the menstral cycle women are slightly more apt to being emotinally unstable.

There is also how different society makes us seem by playing gender roles on us. But realistically you met all different kinds of people all the time and you realise there gender is what reproductive organ they have tucked away not who they are as person.

  7. Much more similarities than differences. There are overall differences between the genders but they are so vague they cannot really be applied at the individual level. Meaning there are many women you will have more in common with than many men. Culture, social upbringing and education have more of an effect on individual differences than gender.

  8. No there is no difference, people are individuals with different personality traits, strengths and weaknesses. Also a lot is based on culture. It's obvious that it is nurture rather than nature, because if you look at different class groups or cultures, it's not because they are born that way but their families and social group make them that. Eg peopel aren't born upper class or working class.

  9. We are about 99.99% similar. People just like to make a big deal of whatever differences there might be.

  10. They are very different, both have good and bad points.

  11. We`are alike, but at the same time we are polar opposites. Look up the law of attraction it will explain more. I believe that we are more different because of this fact.

  12. I think the main difference is women can only achieve things on the backs of men, whereas we can do it on our own.

  13. There is NO characteristic except the placement and sizes of reproductive organs that is universal in one s*x and absent in the other.

    None.

At most, there are a few characteristics that are more common in one s*x than the other, but the variation within each s*x is massively more than the difference in averages between them.

(Think of "men are taller" -- and apply the same logic to every other supposed s*x difference. I'm taller than a lot of men, and I'm not even exceptionally tall for a woman. The AVERAGE is higher, but the variation within each s*x is much greater than the difference in average. There's much more overlap between men's and women's heights than not.)

Now, think of, say, a Boston fern, or even (to take something closer to us) a rat.

Anyone who says that men and women are more different than humans are to ferns or rats is insane.

  14. excluding the obvious physical differences, i think there is more variation within the genders than between them

  15. Very strongly both similar & different;depending on how U look at it.
