Are men in America getting more violent and abusive?

I've lived in Alaska 10 years now and tired of the rednecked mentality of this state. Not all men up here are "bad" but it's the bad apples that really get to me. Not long ago I had one such drunken jerk follow me home because I made the mistake of driving 10 miles below the speed limit. He called me all kinds of names and told me he'd reported me to the Alaska State Patrol. Well when he left I called the cops on him and reported him! The Alaskan trooper even called him an a-------. What do you think of such men and how to avoid them? I have cancer and don't feel that well right now.

  1. There will always be a******s wherever you go.  When you saw him following, you should have driven straight to a police station.  If he was a REAL man he would have got out of the car and confronted you.  Most likely once he saw where you were driving to, he would have turned the car around and headed in the opposite direction.  There are no John Waynes left anymore.

  2. You live in a state that is a haven for every misfit from the lower 48, AND has a very low ratio of women to men, try moving to another state.

  3. Everything was going along just fine until I read the last sentence of your question; it made me think you may possibly have a 'victim mentality'...which, of course negated the other part(s) of your question.

I feel for you, I really do. But you should look into a thing called, 'the laws of attraction'.

  4. Just avoid them like the plague.  I am sure you can recognize them by now.  Sorry, you've seen the "bad apples" out there.  I hope you can find a decent one.  And I hope you recover fully from your cancer.  When someone follows you home like that get in your car and use your cellphone and call the police.  He shouldn't have followed you like that.  It's called intimidation and let the police handle it.

  5. Baby girl that's just men in general, we have always been jerks and we will always be jerks.  That's the reason we have laws, and prisons and police departments.  And that's we we have wars, and armies and guns and planes with bombs.  Being a jerk is in our nature, and nothing is going to change that anytime soon.
