Mermaids are mythical figures... invented by writers and storytellers of fantasy.. and I believe it's great to have fantasy in our life.. such as the belief in mermaids, fairies, elfs, and unicorns...That allows us to leave the stress of daily life behind and read about fantastical things and I believe that if mermaids were real, then they would be half girl just with their lower body as that of a fish..so I would not eat a nice looking mermaid. If I imagine a mermaid then I imagine her as half human and half fish but with a human brain and I definitely would find it cruel to try to find out what she tasted like. I just love the escape into a world of fantasy from time to time and it helps to release stress. Even adults read fairytailes or old mythical tales from time to time, as one is never too old for such things. Maybe you saw the movie ''Splash'' with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks.. that's how I would imagine a real mermaid if they existed so I would definitely not eat them.. I would consider them half human,.

If you wanted to eat Mermaid you'd have to eat her alive, Mermaids return to the essence of the sea when they die or are killed and cannot be seen in physical form.

I am not saying that someone has not cannibalizes a mermaid... But what I can say is that there is no human being so far that has written about doing such a thing........ Now there are many people that have chunks of their flesh bitten off by mermaid and recorded it for all to read... And there are many WW-I & WW-II Sailors that told their stories of how the fought off a merperson... And so far there are a couple of stories of several sailors biting off a chunk of merperson tail to save another sailors life that were being attacked by two or more merpeoson... Biut they said that they had spit it out right away and that they did not chew or swallowed any parts of  it........

No, they taste more like salmon.  It has to do with the flesh to fish ratio ;)

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH U? I will be a mermaid soon and i don't think mermaids like it when u EAT THEIR OWN SPECIES!!
