Are mermaids reallly real ?

b/c everyone keeps asking about them and saying stuff like "oh ya im a mermaid" and i dont think i really believe in them but ya know.......just wondering.

Common...you can't really be that gullible....mermaids are fiction...you can't become one ...the closest you can get is to take scuba diving classes and then you will live the life of a mermaid and discover the beautiful world of the mermaids.

Im being honest and i think and know mermaids are real and why is it that people say they cant exist?? It is 100% possible for them to exsist. Im not a mermaid and dont know any mermaids but it is a huge dream of mine to be one. So dont listen to anyone else who tell you they dont.

OMG  i have the same prob, it gets really confusinsing at some points, lol i usually tell them to show a picture, and if they dont, their lying...havent actually seen a picture yet...

I don't know for sure, but it's definitely a possibility.  If a person was exposed to highly radioactive material, or some sort of genetic experiment, then there's a chance that that person could have mutated and developed qualities similar to that of aquatic life.

No, most are fantasizing about being a mermaid like the ones on H2O, the TV show. They think the mermaid spell on 43things.com will turn them into one and they lie to each other about how they really have become one. Imagination is a great thing. That's not mean, it's not rude, it's simply the truth. 'Live your dream' does not necessarily mean that you will physically live it.
