Are mice hard to care for??

I want mice for a pet but my mom says that iwouldnt take care of the other pets . but it they are easy to take care of i might get one.

yeah they are pretty easy to care for, about the same as hamster

Mice are generally pretty low maintenance. Every day you should expect to spot clean the cage, change food and water and make sure to hold and play with your pet.  Once a week or so the cage should be completely cleaned out.  I recommend getting one or two female mice because I have found they are cleaner and fight less.  Two females are best o keep each other company.
