They both surf really well as freesurfers. Now as competitive surfers they are both doing well, but not winning it all. They both compete on the WCT and finish in the top five every year, but never number 1. Fanning is on Fire this year and is leading the ratings. Now if they continue to perform this well they are for sure the bomb.

mick fanning...sandals are sick, but not comfortable awsome when youre at a party and need to open that corona though

taj burrow has always been my favorite surfer and i dont see why people underestimate him

fanning rips...but my heroes are greg noll and laird hamilton..greg noll was just a legendary bad-***, and laird hamilton has done sh** that most of us would **** in our pants if we tried.haha

yeah they are pretty awsome but i also like Keala Kennelly, shes the first woman surfer to ride the biggest wave in Tahiti, Hawaii. Even the guys were scared to ride the wave..haha, thats why shes my hero
