  1. Well having wi-fi support is never a bad thing, because it doesn't hurt, and it's free. A lot of things to consider though, such as your usage, location of use, and plan.

If you say yes to most following points, you'll be fine without having wi-fi:

    - you will use your phone's browser mostly in places where there isn't a w-fi signal (parks, driving etc)

    - you don't spend more then 30 minutes daily on the Internet

    - you have a plan that covers large data charges and email (when getting a blackberry most of the time you have to)

If you said no then consider a different phone.

The main thing is if you are going to get a data plan that will basically cover charges for Internet/email use. If not, then wi-fi sure would keep your phone bill down.

  2. I prefer phones that use a 3G or "mobile broadband" connection. This way you have broadband access anywhere where you receive a cell signal (3G). With WIFI you are pinned down to hotspots and not all hotspots offer "free access".

  3. Phones are definatly better with wifi because it means you can surf the web for free which is a major plus point if you are looking to use it for work or you just want to cruise the web.
