Are modern day women for the most part the dominate s*x in today's society?

Have many men become worthless other than there ability to donate sperm? I mean think about it, I as a single mother, support my children on my own, their father does not see them, and has moved out of state, no one has been able to track him down for 3 years now, I cook, I clean, and I supporrt my children myself, while he is out doing whatever it is he does, how many other women are there like me in modern day society? Should we give irresponsible men like this the death penalty? If not, why not? What good does their existance do in this world?

It depends on your definition of 'dominance'. Society still tend to lean towards men more, but that doesnt mean its going to be like that forever, women are getting more education than men these days and society should not favor any gender.  

Should we give men like this death penalty? Lol, i believe you are going too far. There are people who are irresponsible; both men and women.

Generalizing is bad. Whats more is that you are basing your logic on your experiences only. You are not the only person who had unfortunate marriage, or whatever and that includes men.

1. Evaluate your relationship with this guy prior to having s*x.

2. You had s*x.

3. Get an abortion. (Something men don't have the luxury of truely deciding on)

Please spare us the misandry because of the choices you now have to live with. I won't be apologetic for the loser that you "chose" to participate in your life, he's just as guilty for walking out on the child which is now most likely going to be raised with a slanted, bitter view of the world because of your belly-aching.

Consider the fact that, the vast majority of the inventions and technological advancements that are practical to the human race were created/invented by men. If men are useless, then I guess everything that we invented/created is also useless too then.

If men take back everything that they invented/created, women wouldn't last even for a day...

Ok, I'm no weenie worshipper, but men are pretty darned good and are very useful to society.

They are very hard workers, working in difficult, dangerous jobs just to put food on the table, do we really appreciate that?

They have helped society to become what it is today with all their inventions and endless drive to improve & advance.

Of course women have been there too, and I'm not trying to undermine women's contributions, but it'd be a terribly hard and lonely world without men.

Your man didn't stay and he is a deadbeat, maybe it's time to move on and lose the bitterness.  You're doing a great job, but allowing one man to cloud your opinion of all others is undeserved.

No, they are not.  Men still hold most positions of power.  Men still make and enforce most of the laws.

Which is why women need to make their voices heard, and thus why feminism is still necessary.

If the only point to anyone's existence was parenthood, then you might have a point. But going by that argument, we should also kill all people who are infertile, or just choose not to have kids. I don't know your ex, so I can't comment on him, but most people manage to be productive members of society in some way, kids or not.

Well laws have been written to elevate women and box men in.

When the free market exists by itself, men come out on top.

When laws grant special privilege to women and things like affirmative action and scholarships to "women-only" and when programs are designed to achieve "equal outcome" for women using quotas and incentives for "women-only"

You seem like the type that would refuse to let his children see him anyways, so you can't expect him to "play nice" with you when you clearly don't posses the ability to return the favor.

I telemarket into the apparel industry, an industry with 70% female employees and 70% of top executives are men, i Could only imagine how few female executives are in industries like accounting or financial services were 70+ percent of employees are men

To answer your question, NO, woman are way behind men as far as holding top positions go and i doubt it will pendulum the other way because men are becoming acutely aware of the desire to be supplanted by woman, whether this desire is real or paranoia i can't tell you
