Are most HVAC buisnesses crooks?

my boyfriend has worked with an HVAC place for the last 7 years and honestly he will do everything to help a customer not spend a ton of money if it is not necessary.

He may be the exception, but don't group all of them together and say they are bad- that just makes you sound ignorant.

That's such a broad question. My guess is no.

There probably are a lot of crooks out there, as well as a lot of fly by night companies. If you are looking for a good company with good standings, check them out before you buy with the BBB or your local chamber of commerce.

Also, it never hurts to ask around to your family and friends if they have used some one that did an outstanding job for them.
