Are most e-mail systems able to accommodate HTML e-mails, rather than just plain text?

I've been sending out a monthly newsletter for several years in a plain-text format, but because I've got a lot of hyperlinks in this month's newsletter, it will make a lot more sense to send it in HTML. However, I didn't know if most e-mail systems can easily accommodate HTML e-mails. I know it sounds like a stupid question, but my knowledge of programming specs is stuck in about 1999. My e-mail interface can send e-mail in HTML format, but I just wanted to make sure recipients wouldn't have any problem reading HTML e-mails.

  1. There shouldn't be any problems. :) If you need help with HTML, you can e-mail me and I can assist you or point you to some websites that have basic HTML code instructions. :)
