Are most hospitals open on labor day?

okay, that's what i thought too. except my mom kept saying that the hospitals close, and i said that there could be an emergency, etc.

Most hospitals are open every day of the year - emergencies can happen at any time.

I would think a hospital has to be open all the time. People don't stop having emergencies just because it's a holiday.

24/7 365 days of yr ,hospitals don't close down coz of holidays,you may have a wait as staff may be reduced.Be patient,pardon the pun.♥

Hospitals are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.  They may not schedule certain tests, etc on a holiday due to staffing, but they never close.
