Are most jet skis 2 stroke.?

Question

I am wanting to purchase a used jet ski and know nothing about them. I did find one I like and it is a two stroke. Are most jet skis 2 stroke? Everytime you fill up the gas tank do you have to add oil? Please give me as much information as you can as I need to make up my mind and I am not sure.

Most older PWC's are 2 stroke and yes your gas does require that you mix 2 cycle oil with the fuel.  It is not difficult to determine how much oil is needed, most 2 cycle oil containers have the directions for proper mixing.  4 stroke PWC's do not require premixing oil and fuel as you probably have already discovered.  Good luck with your decision.
