  1. Yes we have, but its not so wide.

We had strong influence by the time of the French invasion in 19th century.

Ive seen many part french part mexican families in the country.

  2. no theres not that many Mexicans with French ties, I for example am Mexican and have Spanish connections from Spain.

  3. Not most, but some. Also German, Italian, African., even Cajun.  There are whole villages fo blond, blueyed Mexicans or Mexicans descended from freed american slaves.  Near me there is a village with many people of italian and German descent...red-haired, fair-skinned, freckle faces kids.  Most people  in Mexico are of Indian and Spanish descent, but there are others too...including Chinese and Japanese.  See website below...scroll way down for paragraph on all the different nationalities represented in the Mexican population.

  4. Italian, Russian, Chinese, German, English, depending on early immigrants after the Conquest. Don't know of any French enclave, unless it would be Puebla.

  5. there is no large population of Mexico that has strong French ties that I know of, so it would have to be relatively few

  6. Most?

    almost none.

Most mexicans are of native american and spanish ancestory.

french, english, irish, etc are represented in the population but to very small degrees.

  7. Most Mexicans are part Spanish; however, in some regions of the country such as los altos the jalisco, the population is mostly of french de descendancy.
