Are most people idiots?

It seems that idiocy knows no race, nationality, or culture...but do you feel that most people are idiots or just plain ignorant?

You are right in that idiocy knows no race, nationality or culture, there are rich idiots and poor idiots, there are idiots of all colors and back grounds.  I would beg to differ that most people are idiots but I agree there are an awful lot of idiots around.  I'd like to think that I am not an idiot and I am sure neither are you.  See, thats 2 out of 2 who are not.  Although my wife would sometimes disagree, lol.

i don't agree that most people are idiots , but i can say most of the idiots think that they know every thing and adopt bullying tactics to silence the voices of the wise men.

Well, by definition a human cannot be intelligent all day long... There`s a period of time, where he roams on the automatic mode, and can look definitly stupid!! As for ignorance, well, from what I have seen in school, many students did not care to never really remember what they were teached in class, and even less understand the concept of an idea, so I guess our society is getting very lazy in the mind department, and way too superficial to grasp the really important things in life or even in politics!!! The world has become so complex and so much specialized, that we can`t afford to know everything so we come to expect that somebody else know more than us, and will warned us in case something happen, so they could react... Well its the definition of an Idiocracy, and guess that we are living into one already!! But I don`t care, this won`t last forever for sure!

I really think most people are ignorant because they do stuff to me that I would never do to them. So 'I' am the jerk? I don't think so. People are very insecure and basically unhappy with themselves, so they take it out on others.

But the worst is that guy (or girl) who knows EVERYTHING, (even though they live in a 2x2 cage) they have been everywhere, done everything and know everybody.

They know the theory of relativity, ( yeah, they are theoretically related to everybody. Isn't that what they mean? duhhhhhh)

and the law of gravity (that's the law that says you can't go flying off into space without a permit. they will throw you  in jail for that. yeah, they put that on the books in the 1980's cause some dude......zzzzzzz)

My all time favorite is the stupid driver. The one that backs out of his driveway on a busy highway and almost kills a family of five because he was too stupid to look around or actually ( omg!) turn his truck around in his driveway and drive out facing forward!

or that guy who can't wait until 5:00 to pop  a top and get sh*t faced on the way home from work and kills a mom and three kids.

Sorry, all, but I hate stupid people.

everyone stares at their TVs...watching stupidity and thinking that life is all about money and who has more power, the cars, the houses....

ive stopped watching tv and started reading more nonfiction books...must admit it saved me and opened my eyes to the world

Too many people learn only one very important lesson:

If at first you don't succeed, someone will give it to you so you don't feel bad about yourself.  

It is all about making sure childrens self esteem is not damaged at a young age.  Little Billy shouldn't accept that he is bad at math bu should be given easier problems and gold stars for effort.  Too bad the world runs on output and not effort.   It is high time we started teaching children that in the real world your boss does not care about you feelings, he does not care WHY you were late, only that you were not a work on time.  He doesn't want to hear excuses he wants to see results.  But little Billy never learns this lesson so he gets fired from his job and gets on welfare and this is why most people are idiots, they thought that how they felt actually mattered.

I won't go so far as to call them idiots, they are entitled to their opinion as they interpret it.

Wisdom and knowledge comes with age and experiences.
