1. If you had any education, and knew anything...you could find out historically that Republicans have appointed more blacks and other minorities to more positions than Democrats.

Plus, let me ask you this. Abraham Lincoln was the first to start abolishing the slaves, he was a REPUBLICAN. Then when voting laws were enacted for blacks, they were done by REPUBLICANS.

It was actually RADICAL republicans who fought for black rights...while the Democrats were the ones trying to stop it. In 1896, Republicans were the first major party to favor women's suffrage and when the 19th Amendment finally was added to the Constitution, 26 of 36 state legislatures that had voted to ratify it were under Republican control. The first woman elected to Congress was a Republican, Jeanette Rankin from Montana in 1917.

So all in all, I would suggest you educate yourself before looking like a complete idiot who believes everything you hear. Read the history of the Republican party, and you will see a party that ALWAYS fought to protect the rights of everyone in this country...while it was always the Democrats who would filibuster in Congress to stop any and all equal rights bills.

  2. I guess the joke is on you -- Ray Charles actually performed at the Republican National Convention in 1984!

No. Republicans are not old fashioned racists -- sorry to disappoint you. In fact, it was Republicans -- facing Democrat opposition -- that passed the Voting Rights Act of 1964.

  3. no they are not

  4. Most are, there are also super rich Jerk W. Bush buddy fat cats, and inbred gun toting trailer trash that just plain don't know any better, and Federal agents who see themselves as the new Gestapo willing to let the gun toting minions do what they want under the guise of not being a credible threat, as long as it serves their higher purpose.

AMEN to away with all of that.

  5. If you are looking for bigotry look no further than your own reflection. There you are on your high horse, riled up because of Obama's speech, coming on here and grouping an entire population of extremely diverse people into racists with old fashioned ways simply because they have different political beliefs than you. Not all change is good change. Hitler offered change. Didn't turn out well. Stalin offered change, Muesselini offered change, Bush offered change, none of that turned out well. I'm not saying Obama is Hitler et. al, I'm saying that voting for someone just because for change is extremely unwise.

  6. No, we're not at all. That's really sad if that's how you see your fellow Americans. I think you might be the problem with that kind of bigotry.

  7. Sure everyone knows that you are an old racist if you are:

    not for surrender in Iraq,

don't favor a naive foreign policy,

are not convinced that enormous social programs are the answer to our problems

don't believe that windmills can replace oil in the next 10 years.
