Are moth balls toxic to plants? I am trying to put them in little cloth bags and use them as squirrel repellent.

I'm not sure moth balls would be a good squirrel repellent as they work with moths in a sealed container where the fumes of the chemicals naphthalene &  paradichlorobenzene are allowed to build up and overtake the moths. That said, leaving moth balls outdoors and exposed to weather is likely to cause run-off and leach into the soil of the plant. In my opinion, it's not a safe bet for the plants. There are some organic products (safe for plants and children) avail for use in repelling squirrels; one is 'shake away' - it uses the scent of a fox to scare the squirrels away from the area.

  4. I use moth balls as a kind of (baking soda in the fridge) type thing, only I use moth balls in my basement to keep the air fresh, plus it does repel mice and others bugs, as far as repelling squirrels, I sell a popular product from my store called Schoot squirrel repellent try that
