Are muffins better than cupcakes?

Question

Because in my opinion I hateeee cupcakes because when you're mexican you have a hugeeee family and that equals lot of parties which comes to cupcakes and cake bleh!!! I HATE frosting I think cupcakes are muffins with triple times the fatning and triple times the bleh!

muffins are better than cupcakes for breakfast, or a snack with a cup of coffee or glass of milk ..... cupcakes are much better for a dessert, especially at a party

Both seem to contain a lot of sugar...I think I prefer madeleine cookies!

Cupcakes are awesome, to ease the frosting process just put your frosting in a decorators tube or a simple rolled up large ziploc bag and frost them that way, it's much much more easier. Good Luck!!!!

I don't really eat either. Maybe once or twice a year, I'll have one.  Apart from both being too sweet, I always end up with a mega bellyache if I eat a muffin. Weird. Doesn't matter what type or flavour.

I think they are both good. My family is Irish and have a huge family too, I have forty first cousins, and I love cupcakes and muffins.
