Are multi ethnic countries meant to separate???

i think not.nut i dont know why i say it & apparently i need examples to prove my answer.so can anyone help me please ???ive tried for the past two weeks & i just couldnt get it.

so please if anyone could help.it will be fanatastic.

the best example is usa - all the various ethnic groups embrace america - its values, systems, etc.

france, uk are other relevant examples - we come fr various ethnic backgrounds and as diverse as ever and yet we embrace the country's values.  

malaysia / singapore with 3 diferent groups / different  religions live harmoniously with each other.  

no one thought of separation / different political agenda.  we want to be one
