Are mushrooms growing through your carpet bad for your health. They had no stem and just grew kinda horizontal

If mushrooms are growing through your carpet it means it is damp under there. Mold is growing. Mold can be very dangerous.

You have to be very careful to thoroughly dry carpet that gets wet enough to soak through to the padding.

First of all Kris is right...you have mold problems...get it checked out asap.  Second of all never ever eat a mushroom (if that is what your asking) unless you are 100% certain it is edible....some mushrooms can be deadly poisonous.
