  1. Well It depends how high the mileage is for the price you're paying. If you're paying 10k dollars or more with a Mustang with over 70k miles I don't think it's worth it. But Mustangs are pretty reliable cars. If it has a clean carfax with high mileage it should be okay. But don't expect it to be running you're whole life.

  2. I have a 1998 3.8 V6, it has 134,000 miles on it. I drive it every day. I bought it in 2000 with 30,000 miles, still in factory warranty. I bought an extended warranty which turned out to be a waste of money cause I never used it. My car runs perfectly, doesn't leak anything, no squeaks, no rattles, no smoking. It passes DEQ with flying colors every time. It idles silently and drives like new. The reason is because I maintain it properly.

  3. Are mustangs with high mileage reliable? What the heck kind of question is that.... A mustang with 3 miles isn't even reliable. If you decided on getting a mustang DO NOT DRIVE IT IN RAIN, i gurantee you will crash that car absolutely no control or handling what so ever, it just looks badass, buy it and make sure you get rid of it before winter......

High mileage cars are risky but the most common problem is the timing belt... Make sure you dont buy it from a kid >22 because they treat their cars like c**p...

  4. no no no no no no no

my friend did that his mustang got renamed the mus-stank because it started burning oil very bad. people kept honking at him to tell him that his car was on fire because the smoke was so much it looked like it was on fire. one time we were putting stuff in the trunk to go to a gig and the back bumper fell off when he leaned on it. it just fell right off. HAHAHA!!! it was so funny. but what a sh*tty car!!
