Are my SAT scores bad? tell the truth?

this was my first time taking it so i know nothing about scoring

reading- 420

math- 410

writing- 420

If that was the new SAT, which it must be, if you just took it:

That is pretty bad!

I'm sorry, but your scores just add up to 1250. Which is like half of the total score. Each section is graded out of 800 and there are three sections in total, so you scored 1250 out of 2400.

Don't worry though, take it again and improve. Loads of kids do that.

for UCB/UCLA=2100+

IVy's=2200+

um... well I took the SATs for John Hopkins talent search in the 8th grade, and my combined score was over 300 points better than your combined score. BUT DONT WORRY! just take them again, study hard, maybe even hire a tutor. or take the act. just dont stress out!
