Are my bank account details safe?

if i go to the bank and try to get money out can the cashier see my personal details on the computer screen. how much moneys in my account my address.

  5. normally can see your name, date of birth, address, account balance, any other accounts with same company.  

  6. Yes to be honest the cashier, member of staff can see all your personal information. DOB, address, balance and everything.

    When you start working for a bank you have to sign a Secrecy & Customer Data protection act form, this agrees that the member of staff will not disclose any information they see, know or find out while working for the bank. They are only allowed to discuss you account with youself and any other staff that are realavant to your transaction.

    If it is found that a member of any bank staff has used or discoled a customer account information or personal info then they are dismissed straight away and legal action is usually taken.
