I have two sweethearts, Tweety & Sweety. Today, when I came home. Somehow, Tweety was out of the cage. I looked for her everywhere. Finally, I found her under a chair. Her feet look twisted. They don't look the same. Her left foot looks like it's broken. Her right foot looks perfectely fine. What should I do? Should I show her to a vet? Please help!

  1. Take her to the vet soon as possible, even if nothings wrong just good to be safe and check, also if you didn't let her out the cage, try and see how she got OUT the cage and try and prevent it from happening again...

  2. If she broke her foot, you need to take her to the vet immediately so the vet can put a cast on it.  This is difficult and I suggest letting the vet do it.  Try to keep your bird from using that foot.  Put a towel in your bird's carrier so the budgie can lay on it.

  3. Even if it doesn't look like her leg might be broken. You should still take her to the vet. Did you figure out how she got out of the cage?

  4. of course you need to take her to the vet

  5. if it doesnt look like the other foot then you need to take her to the vet as soon as possible.

  6. If her feet look like they have been broken, you need to find a vet that specializes in birds and get her checked.  That is the only way you can ensure that she will be okay. Good luck...
