Are my computer specs good enough to play video games on it?

HI,i bought this computer at an auction when i was in tennesee for 1000 dollars.the guy i bought it from said his son built it and he went to jail or somethin like that but i mainly want to play games on it.but i dunno if my computer specs r good enough :( here they r.

my grafics card is an ATI raedon 4870x2.With 4 GB of ram.

and a 1TB hard drive.it has a Core2Duo E6850 processor.and it is water cooled....ive never heard of a water cooled pc before but o well im only 13.ive been saving up my money for a computer cuz ive been wanting a pc rig since i was 10 lol im a geek.o and 1 more thing my computers case is clear with colored lights in it!is that popular is tht popular for gaming rigs?but mostly what i want to know DID U GET RIPPED OF ON THIS GAMING RIG?CUZ IVE BEEN SAVING THT 1000DOLLARS UP FOR A WHILE.AND CAN I PLAY GAMES ON IT?

you bet you can play games on it, that is really nice video card and a really nice processor so playing games for you will be a breeze. plus the liquid cooling is great. that r totally nice computer. The case is extremely popular for gaming rigs (mine's got red). No you did not get ripped off on this case, it was a pretty good deal.

o and you r not a geek cuz u wanted a pc since u were 10 (im 13 and i built my own gaming rig)
