The prescription is the same-- diopters and astigmatism. I only have 2 "rights" left, because I lost 2 "lefts".

  1. If they're the same size with the same prescription they should be. Ask your supplier to be sure.

p.s. the astigmatism may be the same but is the axis the same?

  2. Make sure all the parameters are the same. If the lens hasn't been worn it should be fine. Once you wear a lens in one eye it isn't a good idea to wear it in the other because if you come down with an eye infection you don't want to transfer it from one eye to another.

  3. If all the numbers are the same, including the axis...then there is no problem using a right for the left.
