Ok, so I'm really NOT a big eater AT ALL. But, a few people told me its not healthy to eat as little as I am currently. but, my problem is is that I just never have a hunger so I just don't eat. There's no point to eating unless your hungry to me. But anyway, like usually I don't eat breakfast or lunch. just dinner. But idk why thats so bad. B/c I've never been a breakfast person, and school lunches are gross and I'm never hungry at lunch anyways but then by the time its time for dinner, I'm hungry and then I just repeat. If I continue this for a while, could it make me sickk or anything? Idk anythingg about this kinda stuff which is why I'm asking, so no rude comments b/c I have NO CLUE. Its sorta like how an alcoholic would react...denial.

  1. Ah yes, the old desert camel syndrome lol. A lot of people suffer from this, and most of them wind up obese when they're older.

You MUST start eating breakfast and lunch. In fact, you can skip dinner if you like, but breakfast and lunch are musts. They are what kickstart your body and brain, and keep you going, make sure your hair, skin, nails, teeth etc. are healthy.

It sounds like you may be borderline-anorexic. This is a reaction that occurs over time because the body is essentially starving, but doesn't know it, because of the release of endorphins that compensate for what would otherwise be almost pain and certainly extremely uncomfortable.

You have to force yourself to eat breakfast and lunch - even if it's just a glass of orange juice or something. The rest will take care of itself, becase your blood glucose will rise and all those sweet carbs will get your appetite going.

  2. Its not good for your metabolism and eventually it will make you fat. One should eat six meals per day to stay lean and fit. Hunger is a feeling. Think of food as fuel not pleasure. Eat something light every 2.5-3 hrs and you'll build a little appetite and stay strong and lean at the same time.
